This is a particularly good live album of his, upbeat with some of the best performances and selections of his.It also is a great quality remote.( might be his BEST live album)
I know we're a little late in getting turned on to Van Morrison but every track is a journey.
My favorite Van cd. CD2, Selection 6 is a religious experience. If you don't have this, buy at least 2 so you have a back-up when you wear one out. Buy enough for friends so they don't borrow yours.
I went off Van in the early eighties, but I heard this cd not long ago and thought he is on the right track again with the blues.
Van and his guests are in top form. This is one great live album. The recording quality is very good. It starts cooking from the opening track and doesn't let up one bit until it is all over. They really integrated the songs in the set very well so that everything just blends and gets better and better. The arrangements all top notch. This is an album that really drew me in right from the get go.
